Central Jersey Man Arrested In Fatal Shooting: Prosecutor

A 22-year-old man from Carteret has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting earlier this month, authorities said.

Javon Robinson was charged on Thursday, April 4 with first-degree murder and weapons offenses, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone.

On March 12, at approximately 10 p.m., authorities responded to Roosevelt Avenue for a report of a shooting. Police found one male victim, who sustained gunshot wounds and was transported to Raritan Bay Medical Center for treatment. 

Evan Blozen, 23, of Carteret, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital, Ciccone said.
